Has anyone noticed I'm sick? I don't know if I have mentioned it.
I had a OB appointment this morning. I've lost 3 lbs. in a week. The doctor is not concerned -- she blames it on the flu -- but Erik is ready to head to the hills. I've gained a total of 15 lbs. this whole pregnancy which was my goal. I would have gained 50 lbs if it meant not getting this damn flu.
I have never, ever been this sick. I coughed up a bunch of green stuff last night. I told my doctor I was going to save it, add some red and make a Christmas Art Project! Doc REALLY wants me to take Tylenol with Codeine and I politely refused. She laughed at me when I told her I took a half Tylenol on Monday. "Kari! You can take TWO of them!" I hung my head. I'm too tired to fight the glorious drugs anymore. Tonight I'm totally taking a whole dose. I'm sorry, Piper.
Other than the flu, there's nothing that I care enough about to post. I'm sick! The world should stop spinning and take care of me! Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!

This is from our trip to Alabama with Corinne and Ryan. We stopped in Mississippi to have a picnic and rest. It was beautiful. We got out of the Vue and were suddenly surrounded by ducks. Hissing, hungry ducks. We snapped some pictures and drove to a less ducky location in the park. Ryan had made brown sugar cookies. And we had that tortilla salad. Mmmmmm.
