CSI: Robbinsdale

Last night I woke up for the twentieth time to feed Piper. I heard a noise towards the front of the house but brushed it off as being the wind. When I heard Lego bark, I knew it wasn't the wind. I looked out the back window to see a guy running through our back yard. He stopped by the swing set and kinda ducked under the slide to hide. After a few seconds, he hopped the fence.

It scared the shit out of me. When you look out the window, do you imagine someone looking back at you? It was something I always imagined, not something that actually happened.

I woke Erik up and we turned on all the outside lights, peeked out the windows and noticed the police at the end of our alley. They had their lights on, obviously chasing the guy. This is who I pictured:

It took me an hour to fall asleep. When I woke up, I checked outside and noticed a black stocking cap under Finn's window. In the neighbor's yard, I saw black leather gloves, a backpack, cigarettes and a flashlight. I called the police and told my neighbor.

I didn't touch anything, I was sure they were going to send Grissom or, at the very least, Katherine. Turns out they just send the local police. The officer told me it was some kids who were breaking into cars in Crystal. And they caught them! Woot Hooray!

I feel better about it. I mean, kids! Kids aren't dangerous!

I bet they got a timeout.

I still think they went to catburglar school. How else would they know to bring the cap and gloves?

2 things about this upset me.

1. I was led to believe that Robbinsdale has no crime, but now you tell me it harbors criminals under jungle gyms? Horrible.

2. Your use of "woot". I cannot get on board with that.

1. Robbinsdale made it clear they do not tolerate criminals. In fact, the police officer they send was from Crystal. Robbinsdale Police were like, "What? What crime?"

2. Fixed.

Well you keep an eye out. As soon as they start taking refuge under your slide, they think you are a friend to criminals. That's just as bad. Get your broom.

And, thank you.

Do you think they knew you had a good place to hide? Well it backfired this time. They still haven't caught that devil dog you have been hiding though, so you're not exposed...YET...

I bet is was the same kid that stole my GPS, DVD, and phone! Thank you for putting an end to it. Now mini vans everywhere are safe once again!

break ins are scary. I'm glad nothing bad happened. You should move to Fridley where its clean and safe.

haha, nate would totally laugh at that statement. He thinks we live in the ghetto.
