Craft Night with Corinne

Corinne and I stopped by Patina today and found the most rad ....well, I don't want to spill too much of C's project (you'll have to check out her site to see) but it inspired a craft night. I made a black tutu for Pipes and finally updated that damn wreath. It still looks like a Leprechaun pooped on it but at least it's even. I really would love some green felt that's not so gross.

I also finally purchased my glorious Gingher scissors. Aren't they glorious?

Too Cute Not To Share

I put Piper down for a nap and shut the door. About ten minutes later she was quiet so I peeked in to see if she was asleep. She was concentrating really hard on something in her hand. I wondered what it was -- could it choke her? So I walked up to the crib to examine. I startled her and she sprawled out on her tummy like "I'm ASLEEP LIKE A GOOD GIRL!" then realized she didn't want to pretend and stood up in seconds to giggle and coo at me. I tried not to laugh but I couldn't help it and we giggled together like two girls sharing a secret.

She wasn't very happy when I had to leave the room to allow her to nap.
