Mixed Metal Earrings

See how I call them mixed metal earrings? Fancy, eh? It's because I don't have any copper jump rings or headpins. Shhhh. I used my new ball-peen hammer and dapping set. Thanks Bead Monkey!

Erik and I disagree about which picture is better, so you get two. Which one do you like better?

Cool!! I didn't even look at the comments and I agree, I like #2 best! Although they both showcase different points!

I just realized I called this mixed media when I meant mixed METAL. I'm tired.

#2~
I'm glad you said mixed metal because I was really confused about the mixed media thing! Likey.

I'm going to change it. It's driving me nuts now!

do you use the dapper first or the peen?

Peen then dap. You can tell this copper is cheap (it was like $1 for the blanks) because it didn't texturize well and the circles started becoming warped. I've really been spoiled working with sterling silver and gold-plated stuff.

Although I adore the color of these. They are so shiny!
